After planning and coordinating countless weddings and events, I can confidently say that my passion for my couples’ unique love stories hasn’t wavered for even a second. It is a truly irreplaceable feeling to have the opportunity to play such a large role in so many wedding days. There are only a handful of moments I’ve experienced in life that are as gratifying as getting to witness the pure joy and love on my clients’ faces when everything comes together after countless months of researching, communication, planning and designing.
My goal is to make sure every one of my couples feels as carefree as their guests do on their wedding day. I am truly the queen behind the scenes, always making sure that every wedding I am a part of is filled with nothing but trust, attention to detail, intentionality, organization, fun and an incomparable feeling of happiness.
Being engaged should be one of the most EXCITING and enjoyable times of your life, but it can be SO easy to get overwhelmed by the stress of planning a wedding and all of the drama, life changes and big decisions that come along with it.
This is where I come in. Not to toot my own horn, but I have been told that I do an exceptionally good job of staying cool, calm and collected during the entirety of the wedding planning process, which in turn, makes my clients feel the same.
If it is important to you that you feel heard, valued and understood throughout this process, you’ve come to the right place. I promise to not only take the time to really (and I mean, really) understand your vision for your big day but also truly learn about you and your partner’s relationship. To me, you aren’t just another date on my calendar. I genuinely care about you, your relationship and your wedding. I consider all of my clients as my friends, and working with me means having a wedding planner that sees you as a priority, always.
With all that being said, I’ve come to the conclusion that I am tired of the cookie cutter weddings that look and feel like the next. The wedding industry, or as I like to call it sometimes, the wedding factory, often produces the same type of weddings over and over again. We see the same flowers, the same food, the same overall experience. There seems to be a complete absence of personal details, unique guest experiences, tailored customizations and entertainment that truly make a wedding different and special. Here at Stoked Weddings, I strive to change that. I prefer the clients that challenge me to think outside-of-the-box and the weddings that require a touch of non-traditional creativity.
I pride myself in creating a truly tailored and personable experience from start to finish for you and your partner. After booking with me, I take the time to get to know and understand you, your partner and your relationship. From creating beautiful tablescape mock-ups and design vision boards to carefully hand-selecting vendors, I ensure that our time together is as seamless, stress-free and personable as possible.
After coming home from college and getting engaged two days after my virtual graduation, (yes, I was a 2020 Covid college graduate!) I began planning my own wedding. I very quickly realized that I had a passion for not only the actual organization and logistics that go into planning a wedding, but also the meaning behind why people get married in the first place. It may sound cliché, I know, but weddings really are a celebration of love and the union of two people coming together to spend the rest of their lives together.
I always feel like a big sap when I say this but, I love love. It's true. My favorite part about love is that how one person expresses, receives and truly experiences love is always going to be different from how someone else does and because of that, every relationship is unique in its own way. I think there’s something really special about that. To me, weddings should be a true representation of who the two of you are as a couple. Your wedding should give your guests a lens into your every day with each other, as well as the interests and dreams that you share.
